Mother's love their children no matter what; it is what they do. It is who they are. In the risen Jesus, we see that the God of Mercy is who God is. It is what he does.
Since the glorious crown of Christ is our imperishable prize, we will train with purpose and travel by faith so that we will not lose his prize.
